Got Questions?

Do you only work with facilities or large groups?

I primarily work with in-home care and long-term facility staff and administration but can provide education and skill building for support groups, memory cafe's, first responders, etc. For individual families we can certainly talk about individual needs but I always recommend Memory Care Home Solutions, www.memorycarehs.org for families aging-in-place. They are a non-profit in the St. Louis Metro Area.

Why is your approach different or better for my loved one?

Positive Approach to Care® focuses on understanding how dementia changes the brain and adapting our approach to what abilities remain. Rather than focusing on what has been lost, we build on what is still possible.

By understanding the "why" behind behaviors, caregivers can experience less stress and resistance, strengthen connections, and create more positive interactions while preserving dignity and quality of life.
